I have been working over the last year for the licentiateship qualification within the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers. I am delighted to have achieved the title and would like to thank all my clients that have been so wonderful and allowed me to capture some beautiful images that have helped me towards my goal.
So what does a Licentiateship of the SWPP mean – well the licentiateship grade recognises that images produced are of a professional standard, and are of a consistent quality. A panel of 20 images, taken from 5 separate commissions, are judged on a number of different qualities, and must reach a high level in each of these qualities to pass. It is a good indication of the quality of the professional work a photographer produces, and so I am very proud to have passed the assessment. My main aim however is to create images my clients are thrilled with but this was a bit of icing on the cake! The successful images I submitted are below.
