Kelham House in the village of Kelham near Newark Nottinghamshire can be overlooked in favour of the more imposing Kelham Hall across the road. However I thought it was a stunning venue and was delighted to have the opportunity to photograph Richard and Jenny’s wedding there. The ceremony was held at the delightful Bassingham Church and from there it was a short drive to Kelham Sadly like much of the weather this summer it was one of those dull grey days but the rain held off enough for guests to enjoy drinks on the patio whilst we organised the group photos. It was evident that Richard and Jenny have a very close family and we were kept very busy capturing all the family members enjoying themselves. As always with a new venue we keep our eyes open for suitable places to take the wedding photos and Kelham House provided lots of opportunities. I am very much looking forward to going back again later in the season for another wedding!
